In the morning of October 4, residents of the southern Odessa region felt an earthquake that occurred in Romania. This is reported by the National Institute for Earth Physics in Romania.
The earthquake occurred 44 kilometers west of Focșani, 58 kilometers north of Buzău, 69 kilometers east of Sfântu Gheorghe, 79 kilometers east of Brașov, 91 kilometers northeast of PloieștiRecall that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 occurred on September 16 at 17:40 in the Vrancea county area in eastern Romania. According to the Romanian Institute of Earth Physics, the earthquake was the strongest since the beginning of 2024, and its underground shock depth was 140 km. Romanian rescuers urged people to remain calm considering the possibility of aftershocks.Also, in Georgia, on June 16, four earthquakes occurred. The first shocks were recorded at 17:16 local Time, the next three shocks were: at 19:42, 19:49, and 20:08. The magnitude of the first earthquake was 3.8, the second 4.7, the third 4.4, and the fourth 3.3.
