The Ukrainian General Staff reported updated losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of October 8, 2024.
Russia's losses as of October 8, 2024
To date, Russia has lost as a result of the war with Ukraine:
- more than 662,970 (+1340) personnel,
- 8940 (+7) tanks,
- 17740 (+30) armored combat vehicles,
- 19203 (+47) artillery systems,
- 1223 (+0) MLRS,
- 973 (+1) air defense systems,
- 368 (+0) aircraft,
- 328 (+0) helicopters,
- 16686 (+43) UAVs of operational-tactical level,
- 2618 (+3) cruise missiles,
- 28 (+0) ships/boats,
- 1 (+0) submarine,
- 26185 (+83) vehicles and fuel tanks,
- 3373 (+9) pieces of special equipment.
Data is still being confirmed.
Russian fleet activity as of October 8
- There are 16 enemy ships in the Black Sea, seven of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles and can launch up to 48 missiles;
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- There are two enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles and can launch up to four missiles.
During the day through the Kerch Strait:
- No vessels entered the Black Sea;
- Two vessels entered the Sea of Azov, moving from the Bosporus Strait.
Currently, it is the 958th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
