Crazy losses. The World Congress of Ukrainians warned about the critical situation in the education of refugee children.

Educational losses among Ukrainian children abroad
The head of the World Coordination Educational Council Lyubov Liubchyk noted that Ukrainian children studying abroad are experiencing significant educational losses. The reason for this is the difficulties they face in adapting to two education systems at the same Time. Because of this, children are refusing to study Ukrainian educational programs. Liubchyk emphasized the importance of supporting Ukrainian identity and national consciousness through the development of diaspora schools. She also warned that the rejection of Ukrainian values and culture could lead to the disappearance of national identity. Ukrainian teachers in the diaspora must feel their responsibility for preserving national identity in children.
Liubchyk stressed that European schools aim only to integrate Ukrainian children into their community. She also called on founders and school directors, as well as teachers, to cooperate with parents and do everything possible to preserve the identity of Ukrainian children.
According to the Ministry of Education, out of 800 thousand Ukrainian children studying abroad, over 355 thousand continue to study remotely in Ukraine. Directors of online schools claim that students are increasingly refusing to study under the Ukrainian educational program, and the Ukrainian studies component is not mandatory in all schools.
