Ukrzaliznytsia announced additional trains from Kyiv on peak days in June.


Ukrzaliznytsia increases the number of trains to Vinnytsia and Dnipro
The Ukrainian railway plans to increase the number of trains from Kyiv to Vinnytsia and Dnipro on peak days in June. Additional trains will operate on a new schedule, the company's press service reported.
Additional train No. 267/268 Kyiv – Vinnytsia – Kyiv will operate in both directions on June 1 and 8. The route schedule is as follows: departure from Kyiv at 08:33, arrival in Vinnytsia at 11:46, departure from Vinnytsia at 17:39 and arrival in Kyiv at 20:42.
- The train will consist of compartment cars with seating.
Additional train No. 220/219 Kyiv – Dnipro will run on June 6, 8, and 13. The schedule for this route provides for departure from Kyiv at 13:25 and arrival in Dnipro at 20:32. From Dnipro, the train will depart at 08:23 (June 6 and 8), at 08:36 (June 13) and will arrive in Kyiv at 16:17 (June 6 and 8) and 15:31 (June 13).
- This train will also have compartment cars with seating, as well as SV class cars with sleeping places.
On Mother's Day, Ukrzaliznytsia decided to rename all trains after the mothers whose children defend Ukraine. The company also received six new sleeping cars from Kryukiv Car Building Works. Each car has 58 seats and has undergone certain upgrades while retaining the traditional seat configuration.
Analyzing the news, it can be said that enhanced passenger transportation on peak dates is an important measure to ease transport communication between regions of Ukraine. The appearance of new cars will also contribute to a more comfortable journey for passengers.
