Meteorologists predict cloudy weather with clearings and occasional rain across the entire territory of Ukraine. Moderate rains are expected, and thunderstorms are possible in the southern, central, and eastern regions, as well as in Chernihiv and Sumy during the day.
The wind will blow from the southwest and west at speeds of 7-12 m/s. In the southeastern part of the country, wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are expected.
Nighttime air temperatures will range from 4-9°C, while during the day it will rise to 12-20°C, except for Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia, where temperatures of 8-13°C are expected. In the Carpathians, wet snow and rain are possible at temperatures of 0-5°C.
In Kyiv region and the capital, it will also be cloudy and rainy. The wind will blow from the southwest at speeds of 7-12 m/s. Nighttime air temperatures will be 4-9°C, and during the day 12-17°C, with nighttime temperatures in Kyiv reaching up to 9°C, and during the day around 15°C.
As meteorologist Natalka Didenko previously reported, the next day, May 20, cool weather with rain will return to the country, but already on Wednesday, May 21, a 'modest warming' can be observed, which, however, may last.

The synoptic forecast for May 19 in Ukraine indicates variable weather with precipitation and thunderstorms in certain areas. It is important to be prepared for significant temperature fluctuations, especially at night, and to prepare necessary clothing for comfortable movement.
