Pension increases for Ukrainians: allowance for honorary donors
The PFU press service reported that pensioners with the honorary donor title have the opportunity to receive additional payments. Holders of the title 'Honorary Donor of Ukraine' can receive a pension supplement of 10% of the minimum subsistence level, which in 2025 amounts to 292 hryvnias.
To receive this supplement, it is necessary to donate blood or plasma for free in the required volumes of 40 or 60 times respectively. To start receiving the supplement, one must apply to the Pension Fund with the necessary documents, and after checking the documents, the supplement will be granted automatically. Currently, more than 41 thousand Ukrainians receive such a payment, and as of the beginning of 2025, it amounts to 292 hryvnias.
