Ukraine and Partners at 'Ramstein' Agree on Defense Investments: Umierov Discusses New Aid Packages.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umierov presented a new program called Ramstein Investment for Industries, which entails changes in approaches to arms production and cooperation between Ukraine and partner countries. This initiative was discussed during a meeting in 'Ramstein' format.
We agreed that products produced under Ukrainian license abroad will enter Ukraine as long as the war continues. We are looking forward to considering all proposals from interested partner states.
According to the new program, Ukrainian companies will have the opportunity to invest in partner countries, while companies from UDCG countries will be able to establish production facilities in Ukraine. The initiative provides for joint production of a wide range of weapons, from drones to artillery ammunition.
Significant Support from Partners
After discussing the new initiative, partners announced large packages of military aid. Great Britain allocated £350 million for drone supplies, Germany approved €5 billion in assistance, the Netherlands provided €400 million for mine-clearing ships, and Belgium planned an aid program of €1 billion annually until 2029.
These steps demonstrate the importance and readiness of partners to cooperate within the framework of the new initiative aimed at strengthening defense and security in the region.
Ukraine has presented a new cooperation program in the defense sector, which includes investment, joint production, and large-scale military support from partners. This will enhance security not only for Ukraine but for the entire region.
