Ukraine imported cheeses worth 171 million dollars.


According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the export of Ukrainian cheeses from January to October 2024 increased by 40.3% compared to last year, amounting to 10,100 tons. During this period, the export value reached 43.7 million dollars, which is 34% more than in the previous year.
The largest buyers of Ukrainian cheeses during the period from January to October 2024 were Moldova (33.1%), Kazakhstan (30.2%), and Germany (9.3%).
The situation with cheese imports to Ukraine also showed positive changes, with an increase of 6.6% to 28,900 tons, which in monetary terms amounts to 171.1 million dollars.
The largest suppliers of cheeses to Ukraine during the period from January to October 2024 were Poland (39.6%), Germany (20.1%), and the Netherlands (9%).
Thus, Ukraine has successfully increased its cheese imports and maintained important sales markets, which is a significant achievement in 2024.
