The enemy is approaching Toretsk
DeepState analysts report that the enemy is gradually approaching Toretsk and gaining control over the city.
Fighting is actively ongoing in the central part of the city, characterized by the presence of high-rise buildings that have come under enemy control. There is also frequent detection of Russian infantry between the spoil heaps on the northern outskirts of Toretsk and to the west. These areas are built up with private sector housing, where enemy infantry tries to hide, survive, and consolidate to continue their offensive and seize the city.
«It will not be news if, in the near future, the northern part of the city comes under full enemy control, as the continuous use of infantry, which is difficult to detect among the buildings, is confirmed by damage from fpv drones and attacks using Mavic. This serves as further evidence of the necessity for our military of these means and the importance of engaging society to meet these needs,» the message states.
Additionally, fighting continues in the 'Zabalka' microdistrict, which has already been practically entirely captured by Russian forces.
«The assault in the direction of Shcherbinivka and Leonidivka continues, but the units maintaining defense in this area are repelling the enemy's attempts with no results. The effective use of resources, people, and tactical situation is yielding results,» analysts added.
The full-scale war has now reached its 1056th day.
In total, there were 155 combat engagements over the past day. Ukrainian defenders are putting up fierce resistance to the enemy's attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 41 airstrikes, launching 62 guided bombs. The enemy also used 684 kamikaze drones and conducted 3730 shelling of our military positions and populated areas.
