Unmanned aerial vehicles attack the Russian Federation
Drones have caused damage to infrastructure in the Smolensk and Tver regions, reports RBC-Ukraine. According to Russian officials, these drones targeted the civil infrastructure of the Smolensk region, but one of them was shot down. 'Preliminary data indicates that one of the drones was destroyed during an attempt to attack a nuclear power facility,' stated governor Vasily Anokhin.
In the Tver region, an attack by 14 drones was repelled over the Toropets district, reported governor Igor Rudenya. There is currently no information about injuries or damage.
The air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense intercepted and destroyed 26 unmanned aerial vehicles, stated Bryansk region governor Alexander Bogomaz. Among them were 3 jet drones. There were no injuries, but operational and emergency services are conducting a review of the areas.
