In Kharkiv, law enforcement discovered a large stash of weapons hidden under a regular garage. There was a whole arsenal found — grenades, grenade launchers, mines, TNT, thermobaric weapons, and many rounds of ammunition.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.

Police noted that the weapons were found in an underground storage facility.

According to preliminary data, three local residents were involved in organizing the stash. They are investigating whether they intended to use this arsenal for sabotage or terrorist acts, possibly in collaboration with Russian special services.

'The discovery of this arsenal is the result of law enforcement efforts aimed at preventing potential threats to national security. It was only through joint efforts that this weapon was timely discovered, which could have been used for sabotage or terrorist acts', the statement said.

The investigation is ongoing under the article concerning illegal handling of weapons. The seized arsenal may be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
