The import of passenger cars to Ukraine increased by 14%
In January-September 2021, passenger cars were imported to Ukraine for a sum of $3.27 billion, which is 14% more than last year.
This is reported by the Ukravtoprom association, citing data from the State Statistics Service.
In total, 239 thousand cars were imported during this period, including new and used, which is 9% more than in the same period of 2020.
The largest supplier of cars is Germany, from which 47.5 thousand cars were imported.
The top 10 countries that supply the most passenger cars to Ukraine:
- Germany - 47,527 units;
- USA - 37,367;
- China - 28,653;
- Japan - 24,065;
- France - 12,565;
- Korea - 12,497;
- Czech Republic - 10,501;
- Slovakia - 10,361;
- United Kingdom - 10,151;
- Mexico - 10,066.
Finally, experts named three scenarios for changes in fuel prices in Ukraine.
