Syrsky met with the Commander of the Armed Forces of Latvia - details.


The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, met with the Commander of the National Armed Forces of the Republic of Latvia, Major General Kaspars Pudans, who was in Ukraine on a working visit.

During his visit to Ukraine, Pudans visited the eastern operational zone of the Ukrainian troops.
At the meeting, Syrsky expressed gratitude to the Major General, the Latvian government, and the people of the country for their support for Ukraine, the provided weapons, military equipment, ammunition, and supplies.
'We particularly appreciate Latvia's joining the 'Coalition of the Willing' to implement the initiative regarding the potential deployment of multinational forces in Ukraine to ensure the unconditional security of our country,'the Commander-in-Chief noted.
During the conversation, Syrsky spoke about the operational situation at the front and expressed the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding further support from NATO partners.

Additionally, he recently held a meeting where he identified the most effective units of the Drone Forces.
