Romania develops a green energy program for cities worth 804 million euros.

Romania has developed an investment program in green energy
The Ministry of Energy of Romania has launched a public discussion on the "Green Energy" program, which will contribute to investments in green energy and energy efficiency. The plan involves implementation over 6 years with an expenditure of 4 billion lei (804 million euros).
The main goal of the program is to support local authorities and heating system operators. Municipalities need funding to provide safe and environmentally clean energy for citizens and improve their lives. The program provides funding for green energy and energy efficiency projects, as well as modernization of the central heating and cooling system.
Program funding will be carried out through the issuance of green bonds planned by the Ministry of Finance. The program also includes separate components aimed at municipalities participating in the European "100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030" program, as well as at local authorities and heating systems.
The implementation of this program is an important step towards establishing a safe, affordable, and environmentally clean energy system in Romania.
