On the night of May 5, Russian troops attacked Konotop, as reported by the city's mayor Artem Semenikhin.
According to him, the enemy used kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles. The attack was conducted in phases with intervals, allowing the Russians to target medical personnel and rescuers who were nearby.
The mayor also reported that some infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
«We will rebuild everything, and it will be funded by the k*ts*ps. We will definitely win! And the most important thing is that there are no casualties or fatalities,» wrote the mayor.
The attack started around 00:30 from the south, the city's mayor reported.
