The difference is almost threefold: suppliers revealed gas prices for May.

Ukrainian gas suppliers have announced tariffs for May 2025. According to the prices published, annual base offers remain unchanged due to a moratorium on raising utility tariffs. 'Naftogaz of Ukraine', which serves most gas consumers, has extended the annual 'Fixed' tariff plan until April 2026. The price per cubic meter of gas for household consumers remains at 7.96 UAH.
All other gas suppliers offer annual prices ranging from 7.79 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter, and monthly tariffs depend on market trends, fluctuating from 8.46 to 21.10 UAH per cubic meter.
Naftogaz urges its consumers to pay for gas in a timely manner to ensure the energy stability of the country. It is also worth noting that Ukrainians can accumulate debts for gas if payment is made after the 20th of the month. To avoid this, it is recommended to pay by the 20th of each month.
Gas, heating, and hot water tariffs will remain unchanged in 2025, but the National Bank of Ukraine predicts a gradual increase in tariffs from 2026 due to fiscal consolidation and issues in the energy sector.
Naftogaz has received funding for gas procurement, which is crucial for the stable passage of the upcoming heating season amid the war and attacks on energy infrastructure. Additionally, Naftogaz and ORLEN have signed an agreement for the supply of liquefied natural gas, which will help diversify supply sources and ensure Ukraine's energy security.
