Russia uses North Korean military for information pressure - expert.

The Russian authorities are using soldiers from North Korea as a tool of political pressure on Ukraine and its allies. The Kremlin wants to demonstrate the 'scale' of hostilities through this.
Analyst Dmytro Sniehiriov stated this on the TV channel FREEДОМ.
'North Koreans are currently not actively participating in hostilities in the Kursk region. They are being used by Russia as an informational pretext, i.e., information-political pressure on both the leadership of Ukraine and European partners, and the United States,' he said.
According to him, Russia wants to demonstrate the 'scale' of hostilities in the Kursk region and in Ukraine by involving military personnel from other countries, including North Korea.
The analyst noted: 'As a result, the United States successfully tested the intercontinental ballistic missile Minuteman III, which covered a distance of more than 6,700 kilometers. This is a clear signal that there will be a strong reaction if the escalation continues with the involvement of North Korean soldiers.'
The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden warned that North Korea's involvement in Russia's war against Ukraine would lead to a 'strong response.'
Dmytro Sniehiriov concluded: 'International treaties between Russia and North Korea are in effect. You can involve the armed forces of another country on your territory. However, the lack of combat experience and coordination of troops from North Korea limits the effectiveness of their use by Russia for political pressure.'
