Russia could have provided DPRK with nuclear reactor technologies - expert.

According to the statements of Major General Viktor Yagun, North Korea sees its main enemy as the United States of America and focuses its attention on them. However, the current missiles in the DPRK's arsenal cannot reach Washington or New York. There is information that North Korea has started building a submarine that requires small nuclear reactors. There are suggestions that Russia might have transferred these technologies to the DPRK.
Viktor Yagun noted that North Korea needs small tactical nuclear charges that can be placed in missiles.
"These technologies allow launching missiles from a submerged position. And most importantly, these are nuclear submarines that can spend a long Time underwater and get close to the US coast. The information indicates that they have started building an unusually large submarine, different from the diesel submarines already in their arsenal. This is a separate signal that Russia might have handed over to the DPRK the technology of small-sized nuclear reactors for installation in these submarines," said Yagun.
The expert believes that the United States needs to seriously consider this issue.
"Considering the unnaturalness of the North Korean leaders, who, with their mania to threaten the whole world, support such ideas, this poses a serious threat primarily to the United States," added the expert.
