Enemy drones attacked Cherkasy region
During the night of October 22 to 23, enemy drones attacked the Cherkasy region. Fortunately, no one was injured, but there were several hits. The bus station building and the administrative building of a private enterprise were damaged. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy RMA, Ihor Taburets.
Defenders destroyed six drones, but the enemy attack resulted in damages in three districts of the region:
- In the Cherkasy district, infrastructure objects were damaged, including the bus station. The fire was extinguished by rescuers. The administrative building of a private enterprise and several cars were also damaged.
- In the Zolotonosha district, debris from an enemy drone damaged the roof of a private house.
- In the Uman district, a private garage and several cars were damaged due to drone debris.
An inspection of the area is currently being conducted to assess the full damage.
Recall that on October 23, a series of powerful explosions occurred in Cherkasy. The air raid alarm lasted for more than six hours.
