Working without power: monobank enters the POS-terminal market.

The Ukrainian financial service monobank has announced the introduction of a new service - payment acceptance through its own POS-terminals equipped with a 4G module.
This was announced by Mykhailo Rogalskyi, co-founder of monobank, on his TikTok page.
The main feature of the new terminals is that they can operate even in the absence of electricity and internet thanks to the built-in battery and 4G module. This is especially convenient for businesses in conditions of unstable power supply. Connecting the terminal takes just half an hour, and delivery is made through "Nova Poshta" or courier service.
monobank plans to install about 15,000 such terminals in a year.
This initiative is a logical step in the development of monobank services for traders, especially for those who find it inconvenient to use QR-terminals.
Renting a terminal will cost 500 hryvnias per month, and the commission for each transaction will be 1.3%, which is a competitive offer in the payment market and may interest both small and medium enterprises.
Previously, monobank introduced an enhanced feature called mono checkout, which allows saving Time when making a purchase by filling in all the necessary data in just one minute.
