Toncoin cryptocurrency suffered significant losses after the arrest of Telegram's founder
According to Bloomberg, the cryptocurrency Toncoin lost 2.7 billion dollars of its capitalization value after the detention of Telegram's founder Pavel Durov.
Toncoin, which was created by Pavel Durov, suffered significant losses but did not lose popularity.
The minimum price for the cryptocurrency was recorded on August 25 at 11:05 AM - 5.34 dollars. In contrast, on August 24, Toncoin was worth 6.8 dollars. Thus, in one day, the price of this cryptocurrency sharply dropped by nearly 20%.
