South Korea warns of nuclear threat in North Korea after US elections.

North Korea is preparing to conduct its seventh nuclear test after the US presidential elections scheduled for November 5. This was reported by the Kyodo agency.
The Intelligence Committee of the National Assembly of South Korea emphasized that although a nuclear test is possible before the elections, it is more likely to occur after them. Lee Sung-Kwon, a member of the committee, stated this at a briefing by the National Intelligence Service of South Korea.
If North Korea conducts this test, it will be the first since September 2017.
According to Lee, intelligence reported that the nuclear test might be accompanied by other provocations, such as satellite launch and missile test launches.
Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, recently visited a uranium enrichment base where he called for strengthening Pyongyang's self-defense and announced the possibility of a preemptive strike.
