Night strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: catastrophic detonation at the Lipetsk airfield and destroyed military convoy in the Kursk region.

As of August 9, 2024, attacks on Russian targets in the border regions and occupied Crimea took place. Ukrainian forces used drones to strike Belgorod and Kursk regions, as well as rocket artillery to attack a column of Russian equipment.
A drone attack was also carried out on the airfield in Lipetsk. The Russian side reports the interception of drones over some regions of Russia, as well as over Crimea, Sevastopol, and the Black Sea.
In the Kursk region, part or all of the column of Russian equipment was destroyed, and in Lipetsk, an aviation ammunition depot was destroyed, leading to detonation. An energy infrastructure facility was also damaged in the Lipetsk region.
Although the Russian side claims that all aircraft were successfully evacuated from the airfield in Lipetsk, there are grounds to believe that some aviation equipment remained on site. Especially impressive is the video of the ammunition detonation at the depot.
