Naftogaz installs solar panels on the roofs of healthcare facilities
Naftogaz plans to install solar panels on the roofs of nine healthcare facilities in regions where its enterprises operate. This was announced by the company's CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov. Solar power plants are already operating on the roofs of medical institutions in Lviv, Kharkiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This project is being implemented as part of the corporate social responsibility of the group.
Currently, over 70 healthcare facilities in Ukraine already have solar power plants that were installed through various programs, charitable foundations, governments, and other countries. The ultimate goal is to equip 200 medical facilities with solar power plants by the end of this year.
Earlier, 178 solar panels were installed on the roof of Krivyi Rih City Hospital No.16, providing the medical institution with electricity even in case of emergencies or shelling from Russia.
