The world in Ukraine cannot be a reward for the aggressor - Starmer.

Ukraine must reconcile, but not on the aggressor's terms, - Keir Starmer
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer emphasized the need to achieve peace in Ukraine, but this peace cannot be a reward for the aggressor. He made this statement during a joint press conference with President Donald Trump after talks in the White House.
Starmer stressed that it is impossible to reward the aggressor or encourage regimes that act violently and brutally, such as Iran. He underscored that we must strive for peace, but not on the aggressor's terms.
Regarding the possibility of achieving a historic peace agreement in Ukraine that would be recognized worldwide, the Prime Minister mentioned the support and deep personal commitment of Trump to establishing peace and stopping the violence.
Starmer noted that the UK and America teamed up in the past to win the Great Patriotic War, and today they are also jointly focused on ultimately putting an end to the barbaric war in Ukraine.
Starmer also shared that he and Trump discussed a plan to achieve a durable and just peace that would allow Ukraine to rely on its strength and prevent Putin's return. He mentioned that Britain is ready to support an agreement with Ukraine alongside its allies, providing both ground and air support.
Starmer added that this year Britain will provide Ukraine with more military aid than ever before and has taken on a larger share of the responsibility for security.
Regarding the possibility of trusting Putin, Starmer stated that his views on the Russian leader are well known. Therefore, it is important that the agreement reached is a long-term arrangement and not a temporary measure.
The US President was pleased with Starmer's position and his support for establishing peace in Ukraine.
