According to him, they only receive compote on holidays, and the rest of the Time they drink tea.
Volodymyr Zolkin showed the dining room and the process of preparing food for the prisoners. They eat three times a day, their menu includes porridge with meat, soup, and salad. For dinner, the cook prepares fish. According to Zolkin, the colony adheres to diet No. 5, meaning they do not cook fatty dishes. They also bake bread on-site.
If the prisoners really crave something tasty, there is a shop on the territory where they can buy sausage, cookies, candies, and other products with the money they earned.
