Research shows what Ukrainians work in Poland and how much they earn.

Many Ukrainian refugees in Poland have successfully adapted to the local labor market and demonstrated high economic activity, as confirmed by the results of a study. According to the data, 78% of adult Ukrainian refugees are employed, which significantly exceeds the employment rate among Polish citizens. Particularly impressive is the fact that 93% of migrants who arrived before the war managed to find jobs.
However, there are certain problems. 19% of Ukrainian refugees who arrived after 2022 are unemployed. Women with children and individuals over 60 years old are in particularly difficult situations. More than half of elderly displaced persons do not receive any income from work.
Ukrainians work in various sectors such as industry, transport, construction, office activities, and services. There is a demand for specialists in the industrial sector, IT, transport, and construction.
The salaries of Ukrainian refugees are variable. Approximately 60% of them earn around 4 thousand zlotys per month, which exceeds the average salary of 3.4-3.5 thousand zlotys. The minimum monthly wage is 3.2 thousand zlotys.
