British troops may be deployed in Ukraine for five years, reports The Telegraph. This deployment plan will be discussed within the framework of the 'Coalition of the Willing', established by Britain and France to support a peaceful resolution of the conflict. According to this plan, European peacekeeping forces will be sent to Ukraine to deter Russia from any violations and provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with necessary respite. French military officials believe that the likelihood of a new Russian attack in Ukraine is very low, as their army is only capable of capturing small areas of territory. Furthermore, the 'stabilization forces' led by Franco-British troops will offer assistance in guarding the skies and waters of Ukraine. The main aim of the deployment will be training and revitalizing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to deter potential Russian attacks. Gradually, the troops will be withdrawn, with the last military units leaving Ukraine within five years.
'We discussed and confirmed our four objectives in military planning: ensuring the security of the skies, seas, supporting peace on the ground, and strengthening the Ukrainian forces,' said UK Defence Minister John Healey.Ukraine is receiving support from allies who are considering the possibility of deploying their troops in the country for five years. This will ensure security and provide necessary assistance to the Ukrainian forces. Even French military officials assert that a new attack by the Russian army is unlikely, as they can only capture small areas of territory. The primary task of the deployment is training and revitalizing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to deter potential threats. Of course, this deployment plan is an important step in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and supporting peace in the region.
