According to the research conducted by the human rights center 'Our World', most of Ukrainian society views LGBT people neutrally or positively.
According to data from the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, 70.4% of Ukrainians believe that LGBT people should have the same rights as all other citizens of Ukraine. According to the report, most Ukrainians do not oppose civil partnerships for same-sex couples, and the gap in opinions has decreased from 18.3% in 2022 to 7% in 2024.
According to the survey results, most respondents (69%) feel comfortable interacting with same-sex couples. Regarding representatives of the LGBTQ+ community, 61% feel comfortable, while 36% do not.
Additionally, 31% of respondents state that members of the LGBTQ+ community should be accepted by society, and 39% somewhat agree with this. It was noted that the highest level of acceptance is observed in Kyiv (84%), while the lowest is in western Ukraine (63%).

She claims that she is not against them, but considers them a 'deviation from the norm'.
